Pastor Donald born in a Christian Family on March 5, 1951. After completion of his education he joined the Indian Border Security Force in 1971. Lord has been guiding and motivating him continually for years to do God’s Ministry as per scripture “my presence will go before thee”. In 1971, when He was posted in northern part of India (Kashmir) God spoke to him and gave him the revelation that led him to accept Jesus Christ as his personal savior. While working in Jammu He received Jesus as his Lord and Savior and got baptized in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit and started God’s Ministry in Northern Region of India among various group of people in Punjab, Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal, Haryana, UP, Orissa, etc.
He started working with Pastors, and used to accompany them whenever he found time. He started giving every minute for this God’s given work apart from doing his Govt Job. Along with the Pastors he reached to the people, slums, youths, families, military camps; distributed leaflets and other gospel material, shared his testimony and the Gospel among them. While doing all this, he found how these people were unknown to the Almighty. As the word says “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.”(Luke 10:2). This gave him a burden on his heart to work for such people spending more of his time with them.
With this vision and burden; in 1991 he took voluntary retirement from his services and got involved in full time God’s Ministry along with his family. Although in the beginning he had to face different kinds of challenges, objections, struggles and hardship but relentlessly he moved forward in God’s presence. Initially he had just one old bicycle which he used visiting places in and around the area. In 1996 he started his ministry work with just three to four families, with the name “Bethel Gospel Fellowship” in Pushp Vihar, New Delhi. Today there are 148 pastors working along with him. They work in different 12 States of India. And Pastor Donald is presiding the all India BGF Ministry since then.
As per the vision given by Lord, Pastor Donald is ministering in Northern Part of India conveying the goodness of love to various groups and communities to impart social, moral, religious, spiritual and secular knowledge among the people, spreading the word of God through TV programs and other literature along with arranging social, cultural and religious program time to time.
His aim and vision is that the life has been given once and it is of the Lord Who created us in His own image and gave His spirit; Hence this life be used for His Mighty purpose.
Pastor Donald being lead by God as per His will and with His plan and purpose following His foot-steps that says the word of God has to be reached to everyone on this earth.
